About
Faith & Hope Foundation was founded in 2012 by Faith Sibeko — a multi-award-winning women's health advocate, activist, and community leader born and raised in Ga-Rankuwa. After seeing children roaming the streets at night, young girls turning to prostitution as young as 14, and women struggling in silence, Faith built an organisation to address these realities head-on. Her conviction: if you uplift a woman, you uplift a community.
The Foundation works across five pillars: participation, education, advocacy, research, and leadership — recognising that sustainable community transformation requires action at every level, from individual empowerment to systemic change.
What They Offer Survivors and Communities
GBV Awareness Campaigns Faith & Hope Foundation conducts dedicated Gender-Based Violence awareness campaigns in Ga-Rankuwa and surrounding communities — educating residents about what GBV is, challenging the norms that allow it to continue, and connecting survivors to available resources.
HIV and TB Testing and Screening Free HIV and TB testing and screening is provided to community members — recognising that GBV, HIV, and TB are interconnected crises in township communities, and that access to testing can be life-saving.
Youth Development and Sports The Foundation nurtures young athletes and provides structured youth programmes — giving young people, particularly girls, a positive environment, mentorship, and aspirations that open pathways away from vulnerability.
Women and Community Upliftment Broader upliftment programmes for women in the Ga-Rankuwa community focus on improving livelihoods, building confidence, and creating economic opportunity — addressing the conditions that leave women vulnerable to abuse and exploitation.
Advocacy and Leadership Through their advocacy and leadership pillar, Faith & Hope Foundation gives community women a voice in decision-making spaces — building the kind of local leadership that creates lasting change.
Faith & Hope Foundation serves the Ga-Rankuwa and Tshwane area. Visit their website for current programme information and contact details.
