Grace Counselling- Ballito Campus

Christian Counselling counsellors are trained to this end. The counsellors cannot counsel within the scope of any mental health diagnoses/addictions/major depression. They will work within their skills to assist you to work through any life-issues you may be facing. If they feel you need further assistance, they will recommend a referral. Lay Christian Counsellors are volunteers trained in christian counselling (they are not psychologists). They will come alongside you and help guide you toward a healthy relationship with God and offer biblically-based tools and support. All counsellors are registered and accredited with the Council for Pastoral and Spiritual Counsellors (CPSC) and undergo continuous professional development. Services include confidential individual, couples, and family counselling (in-person and online); counsellor-facilitated support groups; and faith-based personal growth courses in marriage, emotional healing, and spiritual wholeness. Counselling areas include trauma, grief and bereavement, relationships, marriage, parenting, divorce, and addictions. For GBV survivors, the model is particularly accessible: counselling for Grace Family Church members is donation-based — affordability is never a barrier, and those who cannot pay are encouraged to contact the team to discuss options. For non-members, fees apply (see website). Online sessions mean geographic isolation is not a barrier either. National lay counsellor training is available via EDIFY (Madz Deyzel: +27 82 891 2079 / madz@edify-buildingthesoul.com). Grace Counselling is not a crisis service — for acute GBV crisis: GBV Command Centre 0800 428 428 (toll-free, 24/7).
