LifeLine - Northern Cape

LifeLine Northern Cape is the LifeLine network's presence in the Northern Cape — the country's largest province by area, and one of the least served in terms of welfare and mental health infrastructure. Based in Kimberley, they provide the province with free, confidential telephone and face-to-face counselling for individuals and families in crisis, alongside therapy and group support services.

What They Offer Survivors

Telephone and Face-to-Face Counselling Free and confidential counselling is available by phone (053 832 8533) and in person at their Kimberley offices. Counselling covers GBV, trauma, domestic violence, relationships, depression, grief, family difficulties, and more. All sessions are non-judgmental and confidential.

Group Therapy and Family Therapy In addition to individual counselling, group and family therapy sessions are available — creating space for shared healing and collective support.

Psychotherapy Psychotherapy for adults and children is offered — providing structured, therapeutic care for deeper emotional and psychological needs.

Referrals and Signposting LifeLine Northern Cape connects survivors and community members with specialist services, government support, and other resources in Kimberley and the broader Northern Cape.
