About The Salvation Army — Northern KwaZulu-Natal

The Salvation Army in Northern KwaZulu-Natal provides a holistic support model combining counselling, on-site medical assessment through a clinic, and close collaboration with the Ngome SAPS (South African Police Service) to ensure rapid reporting and investigation of abuse cases.

Services

  • On-site clinic — medical assessments for victims of violence, including evidence collection for court cases and referral for further treatment.
  • SAPS collaboration — working hand-in-hand with Ngome SAPS to ensure cases of abuse are quickly reported, investigated, and followed up.
  • Community outreach — prevention and awareness campaigns in rural Northern KwaZulu-Natal communities.
  • Spiritual support — pastoral care and faith-based support.
